Level 2 British Triathlon Coach
Toby Garbett rowed for the GB rowing team for 12 years and became World Champion in 2000 and 2001 and silver medallist the following two years. He went on to represent Great Britain at the Athens Olympics and took part in numerous World Championships before retiring in 2008.
Toby now participates in the sport of triathlon and has been Age group National Champion for the past two years but this year have decided to try my hand at Ironman so will be competing in Lanzarote in May trying to qualify for World Championships in Kona later in the year.
He has run his own coaching business which includes triathlon, personal training and pilates for the last 8 years, providing leading edge fitness training to rowing clubs, schools and private clients. Toby is passionate about passing on my knowledge, so he has qualified as a Swimming Coach and Level 2 Triathlon coach and also runs his own triathlon camps.
Toby very much enjoys passing on the knowledge he has accumulated over his career as a professional sportsman and helping others to achieve their goals.
